SENSE OF REALITY AND SENSE OF POSSIBILITY

Robert Musil was one of the most important authors of the 20th century and one of the most important authors for the literary modernity.

In his book "The Man Without Qualities" he writes about the existence of a sense of reality.

Musil thinks that through the sense of reality there must also be a sense of possibility.

All these possibilities of reality then lead to the fact that something that is as it is could also be different and can also be different from being different.

Should one therefore attach more importance to what is than to what is not?
